This page features suggestions for primary sources and secondary sources that work well in courses related to the history of socialist cities. If you have any to suggest for either category, drop us a comment on this page or e-mail us at swurbanity@gmail.com. The source need not have been translated into English or any other language. If it has, please indicate into what other languages the source has been translated and any collections/editions where it can be found. If the source has not been translated, please indicate that as well.
One of the long-term projects of the Second World Urbanity group is to develop a primary source reader for courses on the history of socialist cities or related topics. Therefore, even though many of our favorite primary sources have not been translated into any other languages, we’d like to know which primary sources you think would work well in a primary source reader.
